The Kailua Chamber of Commerce presents:

THE INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE
(Formerly known as the 4th of July Parade)

It's back!  The exciting annual Kaila 4th of July parade! Kailua has the only 4th of July Parade on Oahu, and it has a real small town, hometown feel. Because there are no other competing parades, you also get the attention of the governor, congresspeople and a variety of other politicians around the island, as well as the esteemed Royal Hawaiian Band. And, since Kailua is close to Kaneohe Marine Corps Base, you get the Marine Corps Band. It's a great patriotic day in small town Hawaii and a great flavor of the 4th of July in any American burg.
