Guest Speaker: Scott Stenstrud Blue Zone Project - State Executive Director
What began as a National Geographic expedition to find the longest living cultures has evolved into a recipe for living longer that is gaining in popularity around the country. The Blue Zones Project is a systems approach in which citizens, schools, employers, restaurants, grocery stores and community leaders collaborate on policies and programs that move the community towards better health and well-being.
Scott Stensrud is the Statewide Executive Director for the Blue Zones Project, brought to Hawaii by HMSA. Learn about the secrets to longevity in a presentation about The Blue Zones Project and the goal to establish Windward Oahu as a Blue Zones Project Community.
